Chihuahua Dogs - a way to Train Your Chihuahua.

Though the Chihuahua is often known as the littlest of the dog breeds, but what many folks do not realize is there are numerous Chihuahua types. Their heads can be formed like deer or they can have apple heads. Applehead Chihuahuas have a particularly round head, a tiny muzzle, and close-set eyes.

The ones with deer heads have a lengthened nose like Doberman Pinschers. Maybe you have one or are thinking about getting one. Irrespective of how tiny it is, it must be well behaved. And each pack has a top dog, the person who controls the remainder of the pack.

By outlining who the top dog is, the remainder of the dogs fall into line. Next time you eat, do not feed your chihuahua if he wants something. This may let your chihuahua know that you control the food and you are the top dog. Another thing you can try is to not fuss over your dog when you come back home. This also will strengthen that you're the top dog. Standard Chihuahuas today weight 6 pounds or less, and are 6 to 9 inches tall. If you live in an house, you couldnt do much better than to get one of these small dogs. Shorthaired companions may need a little additional heat, sometimes burrowing under covers to maintain their body heat while asleep.
