The Dachshund and Chihuahua house-training Quandary.

I use Dachshund and Chihuahua as a underpinning for starters because my small dog, Hollie, I suspect is part Dachshund and part Chihuahua. I also found her quirks to be mixed between the 2 breeds also. This included the quandary of housebreaking. As the Dachshund is a powerful working dog, they have got an awfully intractable character. This has a tendency to make them stubborn and / or independent. As an important point the Dachshund may try to train its tutor. The owner of this breed should be comfy letting the dog know just who the "leader of the pack" actually is.

So your familys getting a new dog? A dog could be a welcome addition to any family and can help in teaching your youngsters a little bit about responsibility. They bring tons of joy and like to your life, but also require lots of work and attention. There are many hundreds of different breeds and each has something else to give. If you believe that you may wish to have a bigger dog , for example a fighter or golden retriever, you need to take into account the quantity of space you have available for him to play and run. Short hair is simple to maintain and makes for speedy washing, long hair is susceptible to mat and regularly needs a visit to the groomer which can often be expensive, but may also be attractive when sorted. The 1st is to crate train or confinement train your dog. Hollie, my Dachshund-Chihuahua has a little of both temperaments that has made house-training her quite the challenge. When she visited other houses she would go to another room and leave the owner a little surprise in the corners although they'd a doggie door she managed to use. I never had a dog formerly that had these issues.
