Foods Your Chihuahua Should not Eat.

This is the reason why it is critical for all Chihuahua owners, and future owners, to understand what foods they shouldnt eat. To be on the safe side, it is advisable to hear your Vet and avoid feeding your Chihuahua table foods in any way. Ever heard the old chestnut that chocolate can kills dogs? Well, some chocolate can be particularly perilous to dogs, causing fits, coma, and even death. Bones, irrespective of what kind, have been observed to chip and deal internal damage after they are within a dogs body.

I use Dachshund and Chihuahua as a foundation to start because my tiny dog, Hollie, I think is part Dachshund and part Chihuahua. When I found her at a rescue, the info I received was that she used to be a 4 month old small Dachshund. This included the quandary of housebreaking. The fact that Chihuahuas are so tiny makes house-training them a little challenging. Patience will be required in the house training procedure of this dog. The Chihuahua will learn quickly with positive beefing up coaching. They don't like to get their feet wet so going outside to damp grown or wet grass deter the Chihuahua from going outside to potty. In either dog breed there are two advocated coaching techniques to house-training your dog. The 1st is to crate train or confinement train your dog. The second's to paper or pup pad train your dog. If you see them gnawing on a stick, simply scream NO. They should get the picture after two times. As peculiar as this sounds, raisins have been thought to be intensely deadly for dogs. Even in tiny amounts, they may cause kidney failure.
