Foods Your Chihuahua Should not Eat.

That is the reason why it's very important for all Chihuahua owners, and future owners, to grasp what foods they shouldnt eat. Bothering to discover what foods are OK and which might be threatening, could save everyone a lot of heart-ache in future times. Stick with feeding them a premium dog food made for your dogs size. Attempt to dump any remains straight after you have eaten to aid in avoiding this. Ever heard the old chestnut that chocolate can kills dogs? Well, some chocolate may be extremely hazardous to dogs, causing fits, coma, and even death. You should generally keep your chocolate stored in area that they'd never be able access. Bones, regardless of what kind, have been seen to chip and deal internal damage when they are within a dogs body. I use Dachshund and Chihuahua as a underpinning for starters because my small dog, Hollie, I suspect is part Dachshund and part Chihuahua. This included the quandary of housebreaking. The owner of this breed should be c omfy letting the dog know just who the "leader of the pack" truly is.

The recalcitrant personality of this dog makes them resistant and not the simplest to house-train. With positive and repeated scheduling the Dachshund does learn and with a decided owner the Dachshund will develop the coaching fast. Patience will be required in the house-training process of this dog. The Chihuahua will learn quick with positive strengthening coaching. They don't like to get their feet wet so going outside to damp grown or wet grass deter the Chihuahua from going outside to potty. In either dog breed there are 2 suggested coaching techniques to house-training your dog.

The 1st is to crate train or confinement train your dog. The 2nd is to paper or young dog pad train your dog. In all cases, consistency is the indispensable key. Once a nasty habit starts, it is much tougher to break and retrain your dog. Hollie, my Dachshund-Chihuahua has a bit of both temperaments that h as made housetraining her quite the challenge. Even in little amounts, they could cause kidney failure. Mini chihuahua. Too much salt may also cause kidney issues in a dog.
